1917 chamber date with a 1920 property mark. All matching numbered gun including the magazine. The firing pin is unrelieved. Front toggle link is marked "DWM" in script. The extractor is marked "GELADEN" and the safety is marked "GESICHERT" in the upper position. 2 piece checkered wood grips. Correct tin magazine with matching number wood bottom. Navy unit mark on the backstrap. M over an anchor N.8. CONDITION: Gun retains 90% of the arsenal applied blue finish. Straw small parts have 80% of the straw color. Checkered wood grips show normal wear. No chips or cracks. Bright and shiny bore with sharp lands and grooves. The Navy unit mark is spurious. REW
