Starr Model 1858 double action Army Revolver. Made late 1850-early 1860's. Total production, approximately 23,000. 6" round barrel, .44 caliber percussion. Blue with case hardened, hammer, trigger, and lever. 1 piece walnut grips. Good inspector cartouches visible on both sides at the butt. Government inspection marks found on all proper locations. CONDITION: Excellent with 45-50% bright original blue blending with blue brown patina. Bore is bright. Action functions properly and is crisp. Grips are excellent, showing modest wear. -MKS-
