Colt Service Model Ace semi-automatic pistol. Made 1978. Barrel marked "COLT/ CAL .22 LR" on top of the chamber area. Frame marked with the typical patent dates on the right hand side. Right side of the slide is marked "ACE" in a rhombus. Left side of the frame is marked "COLT SERVICE/MODEL" on the left side with an "ACE" in a rhombus, followed by the caliber markings and a rampant Colt pony. Blade front sight with an adjustable rear. Standard blued finish with checkered wood grips and gold Colt medallions. Original magazine marked "COLT/CAL .22 L.R." on the floor plate. CONDITION: Metal retains 95% of its original finish with a few scattered handling marks. Grips are excellent. Clean bore with crisp rifling left. Mechanically excellent. Magazine is excellent. JWA
