Mauser Model 1930 "Broomhandle" semi-automatic pistol with display case. Made approximately 1936 at Mauser Oberndorf. Right of frame reads "WAFFENFABRIK MAUSER/OBERNDORFA.NECKAR/D.R.Pu.A.P.". Commercial German proofs on the barrel. No visible import mark. Standard round steel barrel with blade front sight and 1000 meter rear tangent. Original blued finish with wood grips. Lanyard ring is present. Back strap is slotted for a shoulder stock. Wood display case is custom with velvet lining. CONDITION: Metal retains 80% of its original finish with a few areas of wear and light scratches. Wood grips are very good with mild handling marks. Bore is shiny with crisp rifling left. Mechanically fine. Case is very good with minor wear. JWA
