Lot consists of: (A) Leman of Lancaster, Pennsylvania halfstock Kentucky style rifle with full octagon rifled barrel with exquisite blacksmith made rear sight. Blade front sight. Percussion lock marked "Leman" with patent ignition breech. Curly maple half stock with brass hardware, pewter nose cap and silver barrel escutcheon. Hardwood ramrod. CONDITION: Overall good with no visible restoration. Missing 1 silver inlay. Dark bore with good mechanics. (B) Back action percussion locked smoothbore trade type gun with an "H" with an arrow marking on lock. Crudely made trigger and guard. Walnut wood half stock steel over the comb buttplate. Hardwood ramrod. CONDITION: Overall dark patina appearance with pitting. Dark bore with poor mechanics. DLM
