(A) Manufactured 1887. Springfield Model 1884 Trapdoor rifle, 45-70 Cal, with Buffington sight, 3 position tumbler, low arch breech block, two piece trigger guard and solid butt plate without trap. CONDITION. Good with exterior being a mottled patina. Bore is very good and wood is good as lightly sanded without inspections. (B) Manufactured originally 1878. Springfield Model 1888 Trapdoor Rifle with Rod-Bayonet. Chambered for the 45-70 Gov't cartridge. Fitted with buffington sight, stock cartouched EAA 1891. 3 position tumbler, low arch breech block and trap butt plate. CONDITION. Good with exterior being a light brown patina. Good bore and action operates properly. Stock is good with light bruising and enhanced cartouche. tdw
