(A) Manufactured in 1877 Springfield Model 1873 Trapdoor Rifle with Model 1878 upgraded rear sight, High arch case colored breech block with solid butt plate, smooth trigger and 3 position tumble. Strong EAA 1877 cartouche and a traced circle "P" cartouche. CONDITION. Very fine with excellent bore and over 80% blue on barrel. Stock is excellent with a few impressions and scratches but no material loss or derogation. (B) Manufactured 1874. Springfield Model 1873 Trapdoor rifle 45-70 with 1873 pattern rear sight, high arch case colored breech, two position tumbler, smooth solid butt late and smooth trigger. Wood stock is void of cartouches or markings and has cleaned at an earlier time. CONDITION. Good as cleaned. Over 8-0% blue on barrel. Breech has good faded case colors. Bore is excellent. Stock is good as cleaned. Action operates properly. tdw
