Browning Model 1885 "Low Wall" single shot rifle. Japanese production made in 1998 and imported by "BROWNING ARMS COMPANY MORGAN, UTAH & MONTREAL P.G.". 2 stage barrel, octagonal at the rear, changing to round at the end of the forearm. Standard front post with a leaf rear sight. Factory adjustable tangent sight on the tang. Barrel is blued, receiver is case hardened. Hardwood stock with checkering on the forearm and pistol grip. Cupped buttplate and added sling swivels. CONDITION: Metal retains 95% of its original finish. Stock is very good overall with mild handling marks. Bore is shiny with crisp rifling. Mechanically excellent. JWA
