Lot consists of: (A) Khyber Pass region of Pakistan-Afghanistan famous for copies of guns. This particular rifle is an attempt to copy a British Brown Bess musket. British marked smoothbore barrel with blade front sight. Flint lock made with crude iron parts with single trigger control. Walnut wood stock with iron furniture and brass ramrod ferrules. Barrel and wood held together with 3 areas of wrapped brass wire. CONDITION: Rough with poor bore and mechanics. Great display piece. (B) Brown Bess India Pattern with smoothbore barrel with blade front sight. "Tower" and crown marked flint lock with single trigger control. Wood stock with 3 brass ferrules, brass trigger guard and buttplate. CONDITION: Poor with missing sideplate bolt. Wood cleaned and spliced. Metal cleaned with poor bore and mechanics. DLM
