Fine condition low serial number specimen as manufactured by Auto Ordnance Corporation in West Hurley, New York. Classic Cutts compensator with Thompson bullet logo on top of compensator, with logo also forward of rear sight. Typical right and left receiver markings. Receiver serial number is the only visible serial number. Includes one West Hurley marked 50 round drum and three 30 round GI magazines. Buttstock is from "M1" model of gun with sling swivel. This is a National Firearms Act item and requires BATF approval prior to transfer. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish extremely fine with nearly all of its lustrous blue finish on metal parts. Some slight high edge wear at the rear sight and where the charging handle rides within the receiver. Vertical foregrip and pistol grip also extremely fine with the slightest of handling marks. Buttstock exhibits a few light handling marks and is a somewhat lighter color. Mechanics are crisp, bore is extremely fine, shiny and bright. The Thompson in this configuration with its compensator is in its iconic classic American profile. When you go out on the range with this gun, people will surely gather around.
