1909 vintage Third Model Winchester Model 1873 lever action carbine serial number 627680. 20" round barrel chambered in .44 WCF (.44-40) with carbine front and rear sights and full length magazine tube. Two piece plain walnut stock and forearm with saddle ring and carbine buttplate with buttplate trap. CONDITION: Good, with bluing faded to a mottled, dove gray patina. Cartridge elevator is a mustard patina. Stock and forearm are very good as sanded and finish added with minor handling marks. Cracks in forearm on right side near middle and stock near buttplate have been filled with a wood filler. Action works correctly. Bore is good with some darkness and freckling toward muzzle. -TN-
