Colt Single Action Army. 7-1/2 inch barrel, chambered in .45 LC. Blue with case hardened frame and hammer. 1 piece walnut grips. Frame, trigger guard, and backstrap have serial number 55495, indicating 1880 as the date it was manufactured. Corresponding date on grips. The barrel and the cylinder are later, modern replacements. Spurious U.S. Government inspection stamps. CONDITION: Excellent as totally restored with 95% reapplied finishes. Bore is bright, action is tight. -MKS-
