Martially Marked Civil War era Remington 1858 New Model Army single action revolver. 8" octagon barrel. Chambered in .44 percussion. Blue with 2-piece walnut grips. Nice inspectors cartouche on left side of grip. Sub-inspector stamps in proper places. CONDITION: Excellent with an overall pleasing brown patina with traces of original blue. Action is tight and crisp. Bore is turning dark. Grips are excellent showing modest wear. -MKS-
