Lot consists of: (A) Rare Dan M. LeFever made single barrel hammerless trap gun with only 125 known to have been made. Krupp steel barrel with blued finish and raised matted finish and ejector. Case hardened frame marked "D.M. LeFever and Son Bowling Green, Ohio". Walnut checkered pistol grip stock with added "Kick EEZ" pad. Walnut checkered forearm with roller latch. CONDITION: Blue wearing to a plum color with action fading to a silvery patina. Traces of original varnish with usage dings and marks. Possibly cut for pad. Hard to find gun. (B) Rare Rare Waverly Arms double made by one of the Lefevers in the Defiance, Ohio factory after Dan Lefever vacated the factory circa 1907. Very similar to a Syracuse Lefever double (questions exist that some of the parts are from Syracuse). Gun has steel barrels with extractors, matted raised rib, double triggers, and sideplates. Case hardened action with automatic safety. Walnut checkered pistol grip stock with hard rubber buttplate and walnut checkered splinter forearm. CONDITION: Gun worn to a silvery patina with well worn varnish. All original with good bores and mechanics. Two important guns in Lefever history. DLM
