Browning Model "BBR" short stroke bolt action rifle made in Japan by Miroku in 1985. Rifle is an amazing feat of gunsmithing stocked in "Petrified Wood". Stock follows classic Reinhart Fajen "Aristocrat" stock architecture with semi-beavertail forearm and rollover cheekpiece. No buttplate. Gun has original blued Browning "Deerhead" logo detachable floorplate and trigger guard with gun not having a follower, so gun is essentially a single shot. Blued sightless factory barrel. CONDITION: 90% original blued finish with good bore. Some filler has been used to fit trigger guard and action securely. Gun operates by hand fine but safety does not have room to be locked on safe. Gun has fractures following rock crevasses with gun being weak at the wrist area with some movement. An interesting, one-of-a-kind firearm. DLM
