M-1 Carbine semi-automatic rifle made between July 1943 and March 1944. Arsenal finished barrel marked "Underwood" and dated 10-43. Receiver has "B" marking behind serial number indicating manufacture by subcontractor "Singer Sewing Machine". Gun has went through rebuild with bayonet style front sling band and adjustable rear sight. Mixed manufacture correct internal parts. Gun is import marked in front of trigger group "Sherwood Northridge, California U.S.A." Walnut oval cut low wood stock marked "RSG" in sling well for "Rock-Ola made for Saginaw Gear". Walnut unmarked two rivet hand guard. Comes with woven sling, oiler, "George S. Rumley 1944 two clip belt pouch and wrapped 15 round clip. CONDITION: 60% original arsenal finish with usage wear. Stock has oil soaked appearance with usage marks and dings and is uncut for M-2 switch. Good mechanics and shootable bore. DLM
