This is a very extensive lot containing photos from the Spanish American War-post WWII, manuals, and other pieces of ephemera. Some highlights include: (A) Document and photo grouping ID'D to Jerimia Subrine who was a turret gunner in the 453rd Bomb Group, 734th Bomb Squadron. The grouping includes photos taken during his service, service documents, and his turret manuals, some with period notes. (B) Four photo albums, one is a collection of German photos with great Third Reich content. Three of the albums are from US soldiers, one is ID'D to the 175th engineer battalion, another is from an armored division, and one contains great content of paratroopers in the late-post WWII period. The albums have incredible content that ranges from camp life, to destroyed German equipment including aircraft and tanks. (C) Miscellaneous portrait photos from Spanish American War-WWI. (D) Loose WWII photographs, one is depicting 84th ID soldiers in one piece camo frogskin coveralls. (E) Six postcards depicting caricatures of the axis powers that were made for esquire magazine in 1942. (F) Two maps, one is of the 29th Division's campaigns during WWII, and 1 depicting the movements of XIX Corps. (G) A few scattered miscellaneous manuals and pieces of ephemera. CONDITION: Photo albums are falling apart in some places, loose photos are in good condition and maps exhibit small tears and creases around the edges. All pieces of the lot have wear and blemishes that are typically found on old pieces of ephemera. JD
