Lot consists of: (A) Springfield Model 1884 Trapdoor Springfield made in 1887. Blued rifled round barrel with blade front sight and adjustable "R" rear sight. Blued breechblock with "US Model 1884". Blued lock with "(Eagle) / US Springfield" marking. Walnut stock with illegible cartouche, two barrel bands, and steel ramrod. Brass tag on comb for racking purposes. CONDITION: Poor with metal surfaces exhibiting light pitting. Wood has heavy usage marks and damage to finish from poor storage. Dark bore with pitting and good mechanics. (B) Converted Austrian musket using the Snider conversion system. Blued 12 gauge smoothbore barrel with brass Snider flip breech conversion and bead front sight. Back action percussion lock. Walnut cut-down stock with steel hardware. CONDITION: Overall good with slight pitting on finish. Wood has handling marks and dings. Shootable bore with good mechanics. DLM
