Lot contains: (A) Luftwaffe dagger with a "Paul Weyersberg & Co." marked etched blade in excellent condition with light freckling, runner, and scattered marks. 1/16 of an inch of the tip is very slightly bent. While the blade is original, the acid etching was postwar applied, and was done very crudely with various details being incorrect. White wire-wrapped trylon grip has very little wear, and aluminum fittings are excellent. Scabbard has finish blemishes and is undamaged. Correct portepee is attached and exhibits light wear. CONDITION: Overall excellent. (B) Luftwaffe dagger with a "E.P. & S." marked etched blade in excellent condition with light freckling, runner, and scattered marks. While the blade is original, the acid etching was postwar applied, and was done very crudely with various details being incorrect. Orange wire-wrapped trylon grip appears undamaged, and late white metal fittings are excellent. Scabbard has moderate to heavy finish blemishes and is undamaged. CONDITION: Overall excellent. (C) Luftwaffe dagger with a unmarked blade in very good condition with moderate freckling, runner, and scattered marks. White wire-wrapped trylon grip is loose and has light wear. Aluminum fittings are present, but pommel is loose and damaged, with approximately 40% of the grip side ring broken off. Scabbard has finish blemishes and is undamaged. CONDITION: Overall very good.
