Winchester "Grand American" Grade side by side shotgun built for Fred J. Russell. Gun was built by Winchester Repeating Arms in 1973. Gun has two sets of barrels numbered on forearm lug "1" and "2". Barrel set number one is made from Winchester Proof Steel with full ventilated rib marked "Custom Built by Winchester for Fred J. Russell". Barrels have twin bead sights with Winchester address, Model 21 and gauge and chamber length left of rib at breech. Barrel set has typical scroll pyramid shaped engraving pattern on breeches with engine turned bores and barrel flats. Barrel set No. "2" has same markings and configurations as number "1" set with different choke dimension. Barrels come with identical walnut beavertail "Fleur de Lis" pattern "21-B" checkered forearms with engraved roller style release and ebony inlay. Walnut feather crotch pistol grip stock with "21-B" "Fleur de Lis" pattern checkering, capped pistol grip with "Grand American" in gold with gold border. Stock has special order pull of "16 -1/4 inches" to the edge of a factory installed leather faced recoil pad. Gold oval stock plaque with initials "F J R". Blued scroll full coverage engraved frame with "21-6" engraving with gold dog inlay on left and gold pointing dog on right. Gold pheasants in oval on bottom of frame with gold plated single selective trigger. Blued engraved trigger guard with "Dog's Head" gold inlay on trigger bow. Comes with factory letter stating dimensions and shipping dates with warranty. Also comes with leather covered fitted case with "Winchester" hallmark label and accessories. CONDITION: Gun has 90% + remaining original finish with some light handling and storage marks-possibly unfired with great condition and mechanics. DLM
