1905 Vintage Colt Single Action Army revolver, serial number 266654. Blue with case hardened frame and hammer. 4-3/4" barrel with 2-line Hartford, Connecticut address. Chambered in .38 Colt. 2-piece ivory grips. Accompanying revolver is a Colt Factory archival letter dated August 26, 1964, signed by R.H. Wagner. Letter documents configuration and shipment to Winchester Repeating Arms Company, New Haven, Connecticut in a shipment of 2 guns of same type. CONDITION: Fine with an overall gunmetal grey patina. Traces of original blue on cylinder. Grips are replacements and do not fit well to backstrap. Action is tight and crisp. Bore is near fine with modest abrasion. -MKS-
