Smith & Wesson Model 1905 6 shot, double action revolver with "V" prefix serial number sometimes known as the "Victory" Model made between 1942 and 1945. Round rifled pinned black finished barrel with blade front sight, "Smith & Wesson" on left side, 2-line address on top, and caliber marking on the right. Black finished frame with "U.S. Property G.H.D" (Guy H. Drewry inspector) marks on topstrap. "S&W" and "Made in U.S.A." on right side of frame. Case hardened trigger and hammer. Walnut plain 2-piece grips with lanyard ring and "V" prefix serial number on butt. CONDITION: 50% original fading finish with edges worn silver. Grips in good shape with finish worn off from usage. Good bore and mechanics. DLM
