"GHE" Grade double barrel shotgun made by Parker Brothers in Meriden, Connecticut in 1929. Blued "Parker Special Steel Barrels" with matted rib, twin bead sights and ejectors. No. 1-1/2 casehardened frame with bird and floral engraving, double triggers, and non-automatic safety. Walnut checkered pistol grip stock with reproduction "Hawkins" rubber recoil pad. Walnut splinter forearm with latch release. CONDITION: 90% barrel blue of an old refinish with some blemishing in front of forearm and some nicks on right breech. Barrels have three holes drilled on underside of rib covered by the forearm ( possibly from rib repair). Barrels ring nicely and are solid. Action retains 70% case colors with balance fading to a silvery patina. Stock retains 70% original finish with checkering having been cleaned. Action locks up tight with slight hinge wear when open. Lever right of center. Mirror bores. Good mechanics. DLM
