Shoe lump barrels with steel bead on concave tapered machine matte rib. Barrels signed on top "HERM. EICHHORN & SOHNE / BOSTOCK". Engraved at breeches with florals. Diagnostic proofs on underside of barrel flats for 16 gauge. Sling eye on soldered base. Splinter tip checkered forearm with Deely style release engraved with geometrics numbered internally. Scalloped back boxlock action engraved in florals with vignette on left of a fox stalking pheasants, right of mallards in flight. Greener crossbolt safety. Trigger guard with rabbit. Cocking indicators, automatic safety. Sidepanels converge to a point. Pistol grip stock checkered at wrist with metal grip cap engraved with geometrics. Sling swivel at toe. Horn buttplate. Housed in a black case with red lining, and includes a set of Briley 28 gauge inserts and CT driver. CONDITION: Very good. Barrels retain virtually all of their black with a few minor marks from handling and operation. Forearm with a few pressure marks and a strong dent to tip. Action engraving is crisp. Stock has been refreshed and is now shy to metal and horn with numerous dents and bruises but no discernible cracks. Action works appropriately when cycled by hand, bores with some roughness throughout. Inserts are fine. Case is fine. EW
