A French Classic RP model side by side with 27-1/2" blued steel barrels, 3" chambers, ejectors, tapered game concave rib and round brass front bead sight. Rib reads "PROGRESS - CHAPUIS ARMES - FRANCE". A cast-off maple colored European walnut stock with nice figure, English straight hand grip, wooden checkered butt plate and hand-cut sharp checkering. Matching European game walnut forend with a flush Deeley styled release. The boxlock sideplated action has been built with a single mechanical trigger and has a non-auto safe. A silver-grey patina with nice, fine English scroll engraving wrapping around the action is accompanied by game scenes of flying pheasants and grouse in vignettes on sideplates and woodcock in vignette on action bottom. This nice little gun comes with a Chapuis (Negrini) travel case. CONDITION: Very Good. Barrels retain 98 percent original blue. Stock and forend with minor handling marks. Action is mechanically sound. Engraving very good. Case with some traveling and storage marks. Again, very good Gun. CP
