This is a Shootascope gun game produced by International Mutoscope Reel Co., 536 - 546 West 23rd St, New York City. This penny arcade game originally sold for $60. The advertisement would read "Wonderful Money Maker", "It Will Pay for Itself in No Time" and "Why Wait". Handsomely oxidized metal with cast aluminum pistol case and has extremely detailed scroll-work, and its namesake "Shootoscope" across the bottom of both sides. Front panel under original finish pistol reads "Eye and Nerve Test Mutoscope Patent Pending", "Put Cent in Pistol and Shoot" and "Bull's Eye Hit Rings Bell and Returns Coin.". This particular machine is mounted on a fantastic cast-iron base, commanding even more eye appeal to an already grand machine. Works will and includes key.
