The Niagara Pepsin Gum Co. manufactured this machine in 1904. It offered the patron a selection through a rotating four column mechanism where a choice is selected by turning the column to the coin slot, when the coin is inserted a clock work mechanism delivers your gum or chocolate from that column. There are not many of these machines that have surfaced. This example is all original. The painted base and patterned glass, as well as all castings and a seldom seen original front decal. The wood base and center section are solid, the mechanism has some oxidation, but retains an aged patina. With keys. Reference: "Silent Salesman Too" by Bill Enes, page 142.

Condition: (Very Good - Excellent).
