Side by side "NID" Field Grade made by Ithaca Gun Company in Ithaca, New York in 1926. Blued "Smokeless Powder Steel" barrels with matted rib, twin bead sights, and extractors. Barrels marked "4" on each flat indicating Full and Full chokes. Massive case hardened frame with double triggers, cocking indicators, and automatic safety. Walnut checkered pistol grip stock with black plastic grip cap and reproduction buttplate. Walnut checkered splinter forearm with latch release. CONDITION: 80% original barrel blue with mirror bores and some slight freckling. 40% case colors with wear on carry areas and colors turning a plum color. Wood has coat of added varnish with light dings and sand marks from a previous pad addition. Gun locks up tight and functions fine. A massive old duck gun. DLM
CORRECTION: Please note that the chambers are 2 - 7/8", not 3". Upon further review, the barrels have also been reblued.
