Smith & Wesson Model 1917 Hand Ejector double action revolver. Fitted with standard 5-1/2" blued barrel with half-moon front sight and US Property marking on bottom. Marked US Army Model 1917 on butt and GHS inspector mark on frame. Blued frame with six shot fluted cylinder to take .45 ACP on half-moon clips. Case hardened trigger and hammer. Fitted with 2 piece smooth walnut grips and lanyard ring. CONDITION: Excellent. Retains nearly all of its factory-applied finishes with some light high edge wear on the cylinder, muzzle, and rear sight, in addition to a dragline. A few scattered handling marks. Grips excellent with a few light impressions. Numbers matching on frame, barrel, and cylinder. Bright bore with strong rifling. Indexes correctly. BAS
