Lot consist of: (A) Colt Open Top Pocket Model single action revolver. Made 1874. Patent date on top of the barrel reads "COLTS PT.F.A MFG CO. /HARTFORD CT. U.S.A.". Serials on the butt and barrel match, "26688". Grip spine has " G.W.K. to R.V.Y. Jan. 1875" in script. Round, barrel with half-moon front sight. Polished brass frame. Nice scroll engraving on both sides of the frame. Aftermarket pearl grips. CONDITION: Metal retains little of its original finish with a heavy polish and cleaning being applied to the frame. Grips are solid with a few handling marks. Dark bore with good rifling left. Tight hammer and cylinder. Timing needs adjustment. (B) Colt Open Top pocket Model single action revolver. Made 1875. Patent date on top of the barrel reads "COLTS PT.F.A MFG CO. /HARTFORD CT. U.S.A.", but is mostly worn at the front. Serials on the butt and barrel match. White, marble style aftermarket grips. Round steel barrel half-moon front sight that has been trimmed down. Nickel finish on the frame and barrel. Light scroll engraving on the barrel and frame. CONDITION: Metal retains 50% of its original finish with general wear and patina. Grips are excellent. Bore is poor with no rifling left. Weak hammer and loose cylinder. Timing is very good. Mechanically operable. (C) Brown Manufacturing Co. Southerner Derringer single shot pistol. Made 1869-1873. Left side of the barrel marked "BROWN MFG. Co./NEWBURYPORT.MASS/PAT APR.9 1869". Top of the barrel is marked "SOUTHERNER". Small blade front sight. Polished steel barrel with light scroll engraving. Brass frame also has scrollwork. Reproduction plastic grips. CONDITION: Metal retains little of its original finish with signs of cleaning. Grips are excellent. Bore has pitting with little rifling left. Loose hammer. Mechanically operable. JWA
