Model 1855 U.S. Percussion rifle built at Harper's Ferry in 1860. "In-the-white" rifled barrel with saber bayonet lug, blade front sight and flip up 2 leaf notch rear sight. Barrel dated 1860 with "VP" and "Eagle Head" proofs. Percussion lock with Maynard tape priming system dated 1861 with "Federal Eagle" on priming door and "U.S. Harper's Ferry" in front. Walnut full military stock with iron furniture and no visible cartouches. CONDITION: Overall good with some light surface discoloration. Wood has minor dings and marks with traces of original finish. Good bore with good mechanics. DLM
