Manufactured 1952. Classically configured Lightweight Commander in .38 Super that has been embellished and refinished by David Wade Harris of Texas with flowing scrolls and florals. Mother of pearl grips with gold washed Colt rampant colt. Gold washed small parts and magazine, nickel plated frame, hammer, grip safety, mainspring housing, and bushing. Accompanied by a letter of authentication from David Wade Harris confirming current configuration. CONDITION: Very fine, showing just a few extremely minor marks from handling and some very minor marks at reciprocating areas. Action works appropriately when cycled gently by hand, bore is excellent with sharp rifling. EW
