Smith and Wesson Model 629-1 double action revolver. Made mid 1980's. Stainless steel, ribbed barrel with blade front and adjustable rear U notch sight. Scroll engraving work on the barrel, frame and cylinder, which looks to be factory. Wood grips with white plastic overlay, to imitate Ivory. Grip work was not factory. CONDITION: Metal retains 98% of its original finish with light handling marks. Grips are near excellent with light handling marks. Bore is shiny with crisp rifling. Tight hammer and cylinder. Timing and lockup are excellent. Light drag lines on the cylinder. Mechanically excellent JWA
