1907 vintage Winchester Model 1892 "Trapper" Saddle Ring Carbine, serial number 397579. 16" round barrel with full length magazine tube. 2 line barrel address correctly located forward of forearm barrel band. Chambered in .44-40 WCF. Winchester proof mark on top of frame and on the barrel correctly positioned forward of rear sight. Saddle ring with staple mounted to left side of frame. Plain straight grain walnut stock and forearm. Steel carbine style buttplate. CONDITION: Excellent as restored with 95% reapplied finishes remaining. Wood has been lightly sanded, showing little wear. Bore is fine showing light abrasions. Action is tight. -MKS-
