1930 vintage Colt Bankers' Special, serial number 330307. The Bankers' Special was made from 1928 through 1943 and was serialized within the .38 Police Positive serial number range of 177000 through 406725. Popular with various police departments and railway clerks with the U.S. Post Office. Butt is marked "No.23590", probably a departmental inventory number. 2" barrel marked ".38 BANKERS SPECIAL" Chambered in .38 S&W. Blue with 2 piece checkered walnut grips. CONDITION: Fine overall with 80-85% original blue blending with patina and scattered freckling. Bore is bright. Action is tight. Grips show moderate to heavy wear. -MKS-
