Lot consists of: (A) Colt Army Special double action revolver. Made 1925. "VP" proof above the trigger guard. Matching serials on the yolk and frame Standard patent dates on top of the barrel with "COLT ARMY/SPECIAL 38" on the left side of the barrel. Round, steel barrel with blade front sight. Factory blued finish with rampant Colt on the left side of the frame. Original hard rubber grips. CONDITION: Metal retains 95% or more of its original finish with a few scratches and handling marks. Grips are excellent. Hammer and cylinder are tight. Lock up and timing are fine. Mechanically excellent. (B) Colt Police Positive double action revolver. Made 1921. Standard patent dates on top of the barrel with "Police/Positive 32 POLICE CTG" on the left side of the barrel. "VP" proof on the top of the trigger guard. Serials on the frame and yolk are matching. Factory blued finish with the hammer in the white. Hard rubber Colt grips. CONDITION: Metal retains 95% of its original finish with a few light handling marks. Grips are excellent. Bore is clean with very good rifling. Hammer and cylinder are tight. Trigger reset is slow in double action, otherwise mechanically fine. JWA
