A stunning example of the Poppy leaded glass lamp by Tiffany Studios. The 16” conical shade features a tuck under rim. The poppies are displayed in varying hues ranging from pink-orange to rich ruby red. The poppies are set against dichroic and mottled background glass of soft yellows and greens in reflected light, shifting to rich orange and golden tones in transmitted light. The mottled green leaves feature the rarer variant of acid etched filigree on the inside of the shade. The leading is finished with a red brown patina. The shade is in near mint condition, with just two or three inconsequential hairline cracks. The shade is signed "Tiffany Studios New York 1461" along the leading on the inside of the shade. The shade sits atop a patinated bronze Tiffany Studios base. The three-arm base accommodates three sockets with Bryant paddles. The base is in very good condition, with only minor loss of finish to the column. The base plate is signed "Tiffany Studios 9924". Overall height of the base is 18 - 1/2” to the top of the cluster. The heat cap appears to be a contemporary reproduction.
