1889 vintage Winchester Model 1886 lever action rifle, serial number 32898. 26" octagon barrel chambered in .45-90 Winchester Center Fire with standard rear sight and German silver blade front with full length magazine tube. 2 piece plain gumwood stock and forearm with rifle forearm cap and rifle buttplate. CONDITION: Very good, with blued assemblies turning a gray patina with scattered freckling and pitting. Stock and forearm have been lightly sanded but are strong with no discernable cracks and light handling marks. Action works appropriately when cycled by hand. Bore is frosted with visible rifling. -TN-
