Walther ac 43 code P.38 semi-automatic pistol. Made 1943. Stacked date stamp in the "l" serial block. Russian capture "crossed rifles" on the front of the barrel block. Import marked on the top of the backstrap. Slide and barrel are matching. Frame has been forced matched. "eagle/359" Waffenamts on the frame, barrel, and slide. Swastikas look to be stamped out. Russian black blued finish has been applied to most of the metal components. Brown plastic grips with serrations. Includes a "jvd" code 8-round magazine. CONDITION: Metal retains 95% of its reapplied finish with some handling marks. Grips are excellent. Bore is frosted with good rifling retained. Mechanically fine. Magazine is very good. JWA
