1896 vintage Winchester Model 1892 lever action rifle, serial number 141680. 24" round barrel with full length magazine tube chambered in .44 Winchester Center Fire (.44-40 WCF) complete with aftermarket adjustable semi-buckhorn rear sight marked "King" with a patent date of 1933 with "Rocky Mountain" German silver front sight. 2 piece plain walnut stock and forearm complete with rifle forearm cap and rifle buttplate. CONDITION: Very good, with all metal parts faded to a brown-gray patina with light pitting and handling marks throughout. Stock and forearm are good with heavy handling marks and gouging, especially at left of stock but do not show any visible cracking and are strong. Stock has been sanded. Action works correctly when cycled by hand. Bore is dark with visible rifling. -TN-
