Unmarked Sergeant's or Artillery configuration Charleville style smoothbore musket made circa the late 18th century. In the white round smoothbore barrel with band front blade type sight. Unmarked flint lock with single trigger control. Walnut full military stock with 3 iron bands with center band having provision for sling swivel bow. Iron buttplate and trigger guard. Comes with button head steel ramrod. CONDITION: Metal surfaces turning a brown patina with some light surface pitting. Wood has added coat of varnish over a dark surface. Pitted bore and functioning but sticky mechanics. DLM
