Lot consist of: (A) Mauser production P.08 Luger semi automatic pistol. Barrel is dated "1918" with Imperial German proofs on the right side of the chamber. Toggle has been replaced with a World War Two era "S/42" code toggle. No visible import mark. All numbers on the toggle look to match each other, "17". Other parts are mismatched and do not match the toggle. Standard blade front sight with v-notch rear. Light coat of reapplied finish on most of the metal components. Checkered wood grips. No magazine included. CONDITION: Metal retains 80% of its reapplied finish with areas of wear and some light pitting. Grips are very good with minor wear. Frosted bore retaining good rifling. Mechanically fine. (B) DWM Commercial Luger semi automatic pistol. 1920s era commercial model with ATF reapplied serial number on the left side of the frame. Commercial German proofs on the chamber and toggle. Other parts are matching, most likely to their original serial number. Blade front sight and v-notch rear. Original finish has worn to a nice patina in most areas. Checkered plastic East German style grips. No magazine included. CONDITION: Metal retains 60% of its original finish with areas of wear and patina. Grips are very good with light handling marks. Clean overall bore with crisp rifling. Mechanically fine. JWA
