A beautiful counterbalance desk lamp with favrile glass shade by Tiffany Studios. The 7” diameter shade is composed of beautiful green glass with subtle iridescence and gold shimmer. Above the lower rim is band of lighter green iridescent glass with a criss-crossing green and cream colored lines. The shade is in excellent condition with no cracks or repairs. There are four small chips to the fitter. The shade is signed "L.C.T. Favrile" to the inside fitter edge.
The shade is paired with a gorgeous Tiffany Studios bronze counterbalance base. The has a single socket with correct GECO paddle, and adjustable socket and socket arm. The base is finished in a rich reddish brown patina. The base is in excellent condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs, and minimal loss to the finish. Base is 15” tall at its peak, though both socket and socket arm angles are adjustable. Base is signed to underside "Tiffany Studios New York 415".
