Features include manufacture in 1898 and shipped in 1899 to the "SIMMONS HARDWARE COMPANY / ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI" in a shipment of five guns. Single action front sight. Long fluted six shot cylinder. 2 piece Gutta Percha grip panels. Double action with a lanyard loop. CONDITION: The gun has remnants of blue left in the protected areas. But mainly the gun is a pleasing even brown patina. Fire blue on the back of hammer and trigger is 70%. Grip panels are original and show even wear. Factory lanyard loop is installed. Gun indexes and locks up tight. Works both in single and double action. Bore shows some light pitting and frosting. REW
