A) Japanese Army Type 19 Company Grade Officer Sword with Family Crest. The plated blade is approximately 33 inches long, with false temper line, the pierced guard is brass. The grip is carved horn, double wrapped with wire, with the wire loose in a few spots. There is a silver family crest mounted on the back strap. Nickel plated scabbard. CONDITION: Blade is generally bright with minor cloudiness and scratches. Scabbard retains most of its nickel plating. B) Japanese Army Type 19 Company Grade Officer Sword. The plated blade is approximately 33 inches long, with areas of visible false temper line. The pierced guard is brass, the grip is carved horn, triple wrapped with wire, the wire haven broken and coming loose in some areas. CONDITION: Blade shows areas of the nickel plate lifting. The scabbard is bare steel with just traces of nickel plating. DG
