1892 intage Colt Single Action Army revolver, serial number 144597. 4 - 3/4" round barrel chambered in .41 Colt with standard SAA front sight and notched rear. 2 piece checkered gutta percha grips featuring an eagle and Rampant Colt on either side. Matching serial numbers on backstrap, trigger guard, and frame. Blackpowder frame. Accompanying this lot is a factory letter confirming barrel length and serial number. Originally, this gun was nickel and in .45 Colt. Part of a 10 gun shipment to Simmons Hardware Company March 15, 1892. CONDITION: Good as converted to .41 Colt and then chemically aged with moderate handling marks. Grips are good with heavy wear. Action works correctly. Bore is dark with visible rifling. -TN-
