1898 vintage Colt Single Action Army revolver, serial number 179743. 5 - 1/2" round barrel chambered in .41 Colt with standard SAA front sight and notched rear. Matching serial numbers on backstrap, trigger guard, and frame. Frame carved "R. TERRY" on left side. Single line Colt Hartford, CT address on top of barrel with ".41 COLT" on left. 2 piece checkered gutta percha grips with Rampant Colt on either side. CONDITION: Good with almost all of the original finishes turned to a gray-brown patina with light freckling and handling marks. Ejector rod head has been replaced. 2 piece gutta percha grips are extremely worn with checkering and Rampant Colts barely visible. Action locks tightly and works correctly. Bore is frosted with visible rifling. -TN-
