1897 vintage Colt Single Action Army revolver., serial number 173381. 4 - 3/4" round barrel chambered in .45 Colt with standard SAA front sight and notched rear. Matching serial numbers on backstrap, trigger guard, and frame. 2 line Colt Hartford, CT barrel address with ".45 COLT" caliber marking at left of barrel. "Smokeless frame" featuring the traversing center pin retaining pin. 2 piece checkered gutta percha grips featuring the Rampant Colt on either side. CONDITION: Good, with almost all of the original finish artificially aged to a gray patina with scattered light pitting and handling marks. Checkering and Rampant Colts are worn on grips but are still present with no visible cracks or repairs. Action works correctly and locks tightly. Bore is frosted with heavy abrasion and visible rifling. -TN-
