1883 vintage Model 1873 Lever Action Rifle, serial number 142752A. 24" round barrel with special ordered button magazine. Chambered in .38-40 WCF. Plain trigger. Plain straight grain walnut stock and forearm. Rifle style crescent buttplate. Blue with case hardened lever, hammer, and buttplate. CONDITION: Fine overall. Barrel has a pleasing blue/brown patina with strong traces of original blue, and scattered areas of cold blue. Frame is an overall grey/blue patina with scattered scratches. Buttplate has been refinished in blue. Wood has been sanded with a couple of cracks in the stock wrist. Bore is excellent. Action is tight an crisp. -MKS-
