Lot consists of: (A) Ithaca "Field" Grade Flues Model side by side double made by the Ithaca Gun Company, Ithaca, New York in 1917. "Smokeless Powder Steel" barrels with matted rib and bead front sight marked on bottom of barrel 4 & 2 for Full and Mod Chokes. Case hardened boxlock action with "Pointing Dog" and "Ithaca Gun Co. Ithaca, NY" with double triggers, automatic safety and extractors. Walnut checkered pistol grip stock with bakelite buttplate and grip cap. Walnut checkered splinter forearm with friction release. CONDITION: 60% blue with some light freckling. 10% fading case colors with some handling discoloration. Wood has worn appearance with handling marks and dings and a replaced buttplate. Good bores and lock up and good mechanics. B) Lefever "Nitro Special" side by side double barrel shotgun made by Ithaca Gun Company, Ithaca, New York in 1918. Blued fluid steel barrels with matted rib with bead front sight and marked "Lefever Nitro Special" on right barrel and "Lefever Arms Co. Ithaca, N.Y." on left. Barrels marked "4" and "?" indicating full and an unknown chokes. Case hardened boxlock action with flying duck engraved on each side. Double triggers, extractors, and automatic safety features. Walnut plain pistol grip stock with "Ithaca Sunburst Pad" and walnut plain splinter forearm with friction release. CONDITION: 90% of an old reblue remaining with frame totally reblued. Choke in left barrel has been opened up to Imp Cyl. Good bores with loose action with functioning mechanics. DLM
